Medical Billing Specialist

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Minnetonka company that supplies health care durable medical equipment products to patients all over Minnesota is looking for a Medical Biller to complete the submission and follow-up process on insurance claims.

Looking for someone who has an understanding of medical billing follow-up with specific experience in dealing with medical assistance. Minimum of 2 years Medical Billing experience especially working directly with Medical Assistance.

Daily tasks include:

• Follow-up on all accounts receivables for all insurance companies.
• Follow-up on all claim denials to ensure proper reprocessing or appeals in a timely manner.
• Thorough research of each account including calling insurance, possible contact with the provider and customers.

Required Skills:

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• 2 years of medical billing experience
• Experience working with Medical Assistance
• Experience with Bright Tree Billing preferred.
